Video shows rock-wielding burglar break into long-time West Seattle business

SEATTLE — Security video captured the moments when a man used a rock to break into a West Seattle business early Tuesday morning.

The business, Cherry Consignment, which is located at 4142 California Ave SW, was broken into at around 12:30 a.m., according to the owner.

The security video shows a man pulling up in a vehicle and parking outside the shop. The man then hurled a rock at the glass front door in an attempt to break it. After that, he grabbed a larger rock and threw it at the door, ultimately breaking it.
